40,000 household contacts with Eco-Ganesha

A CSR-led festival idea that bought entry into the twin cities’ ten largest apartment complexes — and a reason for residents to come to the stall.

The problem

Gated communities in Hyderabad are hard to enter and harder to hold attention in. A brand stall alone gets polite indifference. The campaign needed a reason for residents to walk over, and a reason for the association to say yes.

What we did

  1. Ten complexes selected by flat count across the twin cities, from 2,016-flat My Home Jewel down to 530-flat Hill Ridge Villas.
  2. Pre-event promotion inside each community: notice-board posters, standees at the gates, SMS to members and leaflet inserts to every home.
  3. Clay Ganesha idols and Seed Ganesha kits — an idol, coco pot, potting mixture and vegetable seeds — given to residents, turning immersion into planting.
  4. Immersion drums placed in the community so families did not have to travel to the lake, with the brand present at both collection and immersion.
  5. Chef-led cooking demonstrations and product sampling running alongside, with contact data captured at the counter.
