Rural activation & van campaigns

Rural India does not buy from a media plan. It buys from the person standing in the weekly market with a demo in hand. We build rural campaigns around the places where crowds already gather — the Monday haat, the district mandi, the temple mela — and put your brand in front of them with a reason to stop.

Every route is planned district by district, the team is recruited and trained locally so the pitch is delivered in Telugu, and every touchpoint is reported with GPS and time-stamped photographs so you can see exactly where your money went.

Crowds at a rural weekly market day with a branded mobile van activation

Formats we execute

Market day & haat activation
Stall, PA announcement, demo and sampling on the busiest trading day of the village week.
Mandi & mela coverage
High-footfall agricultural markets and seasonal fairs, with canopy branding and lead capture.
LED mobile van campaigns
GPS-tracked vans carrying an LED screen and sound system through a fixed route of villages and mandals.
Folk performance formats
Burrakatha, Pallesuddulu, Yakshaganam and Pulivesham troupes that turn a brand message into local entertainment.
Wall painting & shop boards
Long-life signage on village walls and kirana shopfronts that keeps working after the van leaves.
Door-to-door sampling
Household contact programmes across village clusters with per-contact reporting.

What it is good for

  • Trial in markets where television and digital reach is thin
  • Distribution pull created ahead of a stockist push
  • Vernacular explanation of a product that needs a demonstration

Every campaign is reported with GPS-stamped photographs of each site, vehicle, stall or outlet, so the spend is verifiable line by line.

Rural activation: questions we get asked

Which districts do you cover for rural activation?

We run campaigns across all Telangana districts and the coastal, Rayalaseema and Uttarandhra belts of Andhra Pradesh, working out of Hyderabad with local supervisors in each cluster.

How do I know the activity actually happened in the village we paid for?

Every touchpoint is captured with a GPS Map Camera photograph showing the village name, coordinates, date and time. Reports are shared daily during the campaign and consolidated at the end.

What is the minimum size of a rural campaign?

A single van route covering roughly 20 to 25 villages over 10 days is a practical minimum. Below that the mobilisation cost outweighs the reach you buy.
